Kelley’s Heroes is an original Indie-Rock band based in Rochester NY, and marks the hometown return of Austin TX music veteran, songwriter/guitarist/vocalist John Kelley. John always dreamed about coming home and starting a band featuring his own original Indie Rock songs. Joining Kelley in realizing this dream are bassist and co-songwriter Jon Gary (Woody Dodge), guitarist Dan Hoh (Absolute Maybe), drummer Joe Myers (ex-Violet Mary) and guitarist/lap steel Josh Pincus (Stella Hill). The band’s original music is a mix of psychedelic-inflected Indie Rock, with influences ranging from Texas songwriters to Brit-Rock. The band also covers carefully selected songs from the songwriters that provide those influences.
