Aaron DeRuyter & the Confluence

Rochester, NY singer/ songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Aaron DeRuyter, is stopping by in support of his Album“ Songs for dismal times”, that was released quietly in 2021 during the height of the pandemic. In typical DeRuyter fashion, the LP was a curve ball of tunes that meandered inconsistently through the boundaries of genre and space.  Elements of folk, alt-country, and psychedelics leave their mark as they travel the gamut of sound  with atmospheric layers and crisp vocals atop DeRuyter’s characteristic down beat melodies and lyrical style.
