Genesee Brewery presents: Parktoberfest ft. Bellwether Breaks & Dave North Trio

A festive, fall extravaganza presented by Genesee Brewery!

Parktoberfest is a celebration of the world famous Oktoberfest beer festival and will feature live music and beer samplings by Genesee.

The party will take place outdoors on Lovin’ Cup’s grand patio at Park Point Plaza (weather permitting, otherwise indoors).

5:30-7:00 – DAVE NORTH TRIO
The Dave North Trio is one of the foremost Celtic folk groups from the upstate New York area. The trio’s music is deeply rooted in traditional and contemporary Celtic folk with its own distinctive style create by the individual contribution of each band member. A repertoire of pub songs, lilting ballads, sea shanties, bawdy ditties, along with a smattering of blues, country, bluegreass and rockabilly represent the range of music performed.

7:30-9:00 – BELLWETHER BREAKS
Bellwether Breaks has a groove so irresistible it won’t let you walk out the door. This new band draws its life blood from slinky 60s Soul and early Rock n Roll, with a smattering of angular 90s grit. Their songs are fun and familiar yet unpredictable, like a confident lover with an acceptable number of red flags. Elyse, Pete, Eugene, Chris, and Dave happily call Rochester their home, where they were forged in the fires of the vibrant local scene, the Eastman School of Music, and just plain honest living. With hints of Amy Winehouse, Otis Redding, Angel Olsen, and even Weezer, Bellwether Breaks puts a modern spin on retro nostalgia with their seriously catchy sound.
