Escape Terrain & Behrcat

Hailing from Rochester NY, “Escape Terrain” is an exciting, unique, movement making headway in the music industry. This group brings elements of Funk, Soul, Jazz, and Rock genres to create new and exciting sounds. This collaborative ensemble consists of Ryan Johnson on guitar, Dylon Walbridge on keys, Scott Dupra on bass, and Dan Knorr on drums. Their unique sound is a result of each member’s dedication to the craft, including studying and acquiring music degrees from various Universities, arranging and recording for national musicians, and country-wide touring. Individually, the group has opened for artists such as, Cabo Frio, Maynard Ferguson, Lyrics Born, and Tower of Power. Achieving endorsements from Godin Guitars, and Curt Mangan Strings, they are making an impact in the music world. Their enticing sound and consistent involvement in their communities has made them head turners in New York.

Behrcat is a dynamic jazz rock band that seamlessly blends the intricate harmonies of jazz with the raw energy of rock. You will hear powerful and intentional vocals by Jenn Brady. Intricate and memorable piano lines by Dylon Walbridge. Unique and authentic bass lines by Ryan Johnson and compelling and deliberate drumming by James (Doc) McGowan. Behrcat is a band that is constantly seeking new ways to challenge themselves and their audience. Each musician has achieved notable success individually, but their current focus is coming together to create a fully original album that will captivate listeners and defy genre boundaries.
