An Evening with Collins/Miller Quartet

Seven years ago, the Collins/Miller Quintet made its debut performance at an intimate jazz club in NYC, the Williamsburg Music Center. As long-time collaborators in the upstate New York region, this was Jesse Collins and Ben Miller’s first joint effort downstate, using an all-star band to convey their own unique originals and arrangements to a receptive audience. It featured Jesse Collins on alto sax, Ben Miller on piano, Taru Alexander on drums, George Delancey on bass, and Miles Griffith on vocals.

Long overdue for further co-lead performances, Jesse and Ben have decided that the experience brought to NYC in 2016 needs to be shared upstate once and for all. The Collins/Miller Quartet is now set to begin a string of performances in the Rochester region featuring a rotating cast of killer swingin’ upstate rhythm sections.
