The new 28IF single “Hold Tight” is not only getting airplay locally on WRUR-FM in Rochester, NY, but on stations from Maui to Minnesota, St. Louis to Boston, many internet specialty shows in the U.S. and the U.K., and is in the Top 5 of the Sirius/XM Underground Garage Channel’s “Top 21 of Channel 21” chart!

2022 marked the return of the 28IF band who previously performed at venues in western New York and the Rochester and Finger Lakes region from 2006-2009. Back are founding member and bassist/vocalist RAY PAUL, who has reunited with former 28IF guitarist/vocalist JOHN COVACH (2008-2009), plus new drummer BOB VOELLINGER rounding out the group.

You may know RAY PAUL for his recordings and original band RAY PAUL & RPM (who have headlined the Lovin’ Cup stage many times since 2015), and JOHN COVACH as the former lead guitarist in THE SMOOTH TALKERS and author.

There’ll be plenty of Rickenbacker 12-string guitar ringing out at this show. And every 28IF show is a different show with many new, rare and “new old” songs added to keep things fresh. So put on your Beatle Boots, wake up your memories and enjoy a jangly evening of fun with the Fab sounds of 28IF!
