2022 marked the return of the 28IF band who previously performed at venues in western New York and the Rochester and Finger Lakes region from 2006-2009. Back are founding member and bassist/vocalist RAY PAUL, who has reunited with former 28IF guitarist/vocalist JOHN COVACH (2008-2009), plus new drummer BOB VOELLINGER rounding out the group.

You may know RAY PAUL for his recordings and original band RAY PAUL & RPM (who have headlined the Lovin’ Cup stage many times since 2015), and JOHN COVACH as the former lead guitarist in THE SMOOTH TALKERS and author.

From Boston, The Chelsea Curve blast out retro mod pop with hooks-a-plenty! Both groups have received quite a lot of radio airplay across the country, including Sirius XM’s Underground Garage channel, locally in Rochester on WRUR-FM, and regionally on WITH-FM (Ithaca, NY) and Spark 93.7/103.3 FM in Syracuse, NY.
